Why The Dodgers Should Not Trade Yasiel Puig

Complain if you like about the current .256/.319/.386 slash line and ignore the .333 with an .826 OPS in June and the .276 and .884 in July. Forget that Puig is the best defensive outfielder the Dodgers have with Joc Pederson on the shelf. You want Trayce Thompson and his .226/.302/.436 overall mark, with his .207/.298/.402 June line and .143/.211/.286 in July in right instead? Or Scott Van Slyke, with his .203/.262/.322 2016 follow-up to his .239/.317/.398 2015?
