Rovi-TiVo Merger Gets Green Light From the Feds

The looming tie-up of entertainment technology companies Rovi (NASDAQ: ROVI) and TiVo (NASDAQ: TIVO) has taken an important step forward. In a joint press release, the two said they had effectively received regulatory clearance for the tie-up from both the Federal Trade Commission, and the Department of Justice.
