How A Suspicious Hillary Clinton Would Change The Pacific Rim's Trade Pact

Hillary Clinton, effectively the presidential nominee for America’s incumbent political party, helped start talks as head of state to fashion the Trans Pacific Partnership into one of the world’s most aggressive trade blocs. But as Clinton campaigns for president ahead of the November election, she is sowing new doubt for the 12-country trade deal that covers 40% of the world economy and has particularly excited export-dependent Asian members such as Malaysia and Vietnam as they suddenly get unbridled access to massive developed markets including the United States. As president, she would probably let the bloc better known by its acronym TPP stand up but only after a new round of scrutiny, analysts say.
