Dealerships Settle FTC Misleading Ad Complaint For $85,000

A Dallas-area auto dealership group agreed to an $85,000 civil penalty levied by the Federal Trade Commission for alleged deceptive advertising practices – and for violating an earlier consent order in which the same group agreed back in 2014 to refrain from deceptive advertising, and to accept monitoring and reporting requirements for up to 20 years.
